In a world through greed obese

And His words aren't fancy rhetoric

Which rhyme and talk of peace

All the philosophies of men

Echo the same throughout the age

Never giving life real meaning

They can't clean the blotted page.

We don't need another theory

And the philosophies of men have got to go

We need to immerse ourselves in Jesus

His peace and love inside has got to show

Look at the flood of hungry people

Look at the way they search for truth

How can you close your eyes, not feel the pain

How can you be aloof

You have a treasure in earthen vessels

Please don't keep it on the shelf

Are you showing Jesus to the world

Or would you rather show yourself
