GCF E-Bulletin for Friday, May 22, 2026
Church Camp: Camp Signups are LIVE! Please follow the link for more information and to sign up. We also have an option to sign up in person at the table by the welcome center. Please sign up as soon as possible so we can start working on behind-the-scenes planning.
If you would like to go ziplining, make sure you visit the camp table at church to sign up. The available timeslots are almost filled.
For those who plan on attending only the Sunday Service (and lunch), there is a sheet at the camp table where you can add your name(s).
Our volunteer who is running the kids’ crafts at camp is requesting lots of cardboard egg cartons for one of the crafts. If you are able to donate any, please place them in the labeled bin by the main doors.
2026 Graduates: We would like to acknowledge and pray for our graduating seniors (both high school and college) during our service next week (May 31). If you have a 2026 graduate, please email Kim at secretary@gcfchurch.net with your graduate's full name and a photo or two - even if you will not be at church on the 31st.
Baby Dedication: We will be having a “baby” dedication on June 7th, during the service. If you have a child or children you would like to dedicate, please contact Kim at secretary@gcfchurch.net. We will need the name, date of birth, parents’ names, and 2 pictures of each child being dedicated.
Shared Meal: We just wanted to remind everyone that we take a couple of months' break from our shared meals in the summer. Our next one will be on Sunday, August 9th.
Picture Directory: After receiving many requests, we decided to put together a GCF picture directory later this summer. It is going to require some work from all of you, though! We will request that each household that wants to be included submit a photo for the directory. It will need to be high-quality, in a horizontal (landscape) layout, and preferably “waist up” to ensure faces are clear enough to see in the directory. If you have an adult child still living at home, they can either be included in your family picture or have their own entry. Please keep this in mind over the summer, as you may be taking family pictures. We will let you know when and how to submit them.
Getting Plugged In: If you are looking for more ways to get plugged in at GCF, there are many ways you can do that. There are volunteer opportunities to work with children in the nursery or children’s church, or if you want to meet more people, greeting or ushering are great options. If you would like to see a ministry start at GCF, the elders would love to hear your thoughts. Feel free to reach out to the appropriate coordinator to see if you are a good fit to get plugged in!
Greeting/Ushering - contact secretary@gcfchurch.net or speak with Kim Terpstra
Children’s Church - contact ggteam@gcfchurch.net or speak with Ruth Zwierzynski
