Ostoja Pentacostal Church in Opole, Poland
The Ostoja Church was established in Opole shortly after the end of World War II, initiated by a group of Christians settling in the area. In the 1960s, the community acquired a Lutheran chapel located in the old cemetery, where services were held for almost 30 years.
In the late 1980s, a plot of land was purchased, and construction began on a new church building. Construction continued in stages until the main hall was completed in 2005. Today, over 200 people attend services. Currently, there is construction work going on at the last part of the building, which will be a kindergarten and a primary Christian school.
